The Captain Cook Planning Committee Hard at It

Posted on November 15, 2013

Hello from the amazing town of Agnes Water, the Queensland getaway accommodation. A great week of weather again, but will it continue? Well, while we wait for the new PS4 to be released let’s see what the local 1770 town is up to.

In the weather the mercury continues to rise and rise having next week’s average at 28/29 degrees. Sounds delightful but don’t get carried away, there are scattered showers. So, put your head out the window and look up before going anywhere.

This week in weather has periods of nice surf conditions, with the weekend being the pick of the days. If you are looking for the waves midweek your best bet is don’t. Take up the chance though and grab the rod and reel and have a good old fashioned fish, I will be out there.

This may be too soon but the Captain Cook 1770 festival is busy preparing six months in advance. The committee responsible, the subcommittee of Discovery Coast Tourism & Commerce Inc, have a whole line up of events in the pipeline. Watch this space for their light up Agnes Water event for Christmas, it should be a hoot and a holler.

That’s all from me and the blog this week, thanks for reading. Share your thoughts on the Captain Cook Holiday Village crew Facebook page. As always, enjoy yourself from the beautiful Queensland town, Agnes Water.
