What’s on in Agnes Water… besides the Ashes

Posted on November 22, 2013

G’day from Agnes Water, the beautiful uncluttered beach getaway of Queensland. Last week’s weather was utterly blissful, the perfect lead into the Aussies Ashes campaign. Let’s hope it continues and the Aussies can take it to the Pommes.

To the town of 1770s weather and this next week summer is defiantly starting to kick in. The average looks to be tops of 29 and 30 degrees and high humidity. The rays of sun will be pounding down so don’t forget to stay sun smart.

To surf, beach and the waves of Anges Water. If you are keen, this afternoon is the pick of the bunch. The waves look to drop off a little over the weekend but should pick up again over the working week. My recommendation is if you want to be out and about over the weekend take in the local sites, scenic walks or have a fish.

In other happenings of 1770, Sunday and the SES grounds will be playing host to the Discovery Coast Markets. And on hump day, Wednesday, Agnes Water SES training will be taking place at 6pm on the SES grounds.

That’s it for this weeks, thanks for stopping by. Give your thoughts on the Captain Cook Holiday Village crews Facebook page. Enjoy yourself and the cricket from the beautiful Queensland town, Agnes Water.
