Agnes Water’s Local Surf, Weather and Sport

Posted on June 20, 2014

Hello to another week’s 1770 Queensland holiday blog. Only one week until the school holiday. It’ a great time to head to Agnes Water and get-away from the cluttered school holiday hangouts.

Agnes Water’s weather over the next week looks to be mainly nice. 1770 still has tops around the 22 and 23 degree mark with most days being sunny. There will be the odd shower though so if you are planning on heading out to the beach, or for a picnic or walk Sunday onwards looks to be nice.

The surf at Agnes Water’s main beach is looking pretty nice over the weekend with some nice swells. The pick of the days is Sunday morning with the waves quieting down as the week goes on.

As the Australian World Cup squad do us proud in Brazil let’s see what the local rugby boy’s are up to. Head down to South Kolan this Sunday as the local Agnes Water Marlins take on the Sharks, with kick off at 2:15pm.

Also happening in Agnes Water this week is the Discovery Coast Market on Sunday morning at the Agnes Water SES Grounds. And, Wednesday night the 1770 SES Training will be on at 6pm, held at the SES Shed.

That’s it for this week’s crew log. We will see you next time, enjoy yourself.
