Posted on September 5, 2014

Fish_and_ManHi from the Captain Cook Holiday Village crew. It has been nice weather around the caravan park and nice fishing conditions with some good size fish caught. Let’s see what the Queensland getaway holiday town of Agnes Water has planned for this week.

Firstly and most importantly, the weather over the coming week looks to be great conditions as we start up spring. Most days will be mainly fine and sunny, with the odd cloud and shower starting the working week. The daily temperature tops will remain fairly consistent hovering around the 22 degree mark.

The surf conditions over the next few days will be flat as a tack but still head down to the Agnes Water main beach. It will be good weather for swimming or fishing.

The local rugby side, Agnes Waters own Marlin boys, will be hosting their end of season presentation day tomorrow the 6th of September kicking off at 3pm. Held at the DCSR Grounds, the day will be great fun for the whole family. There will be a jumping castle, BBQ, bar, meat raffle, games, award presentation and more. All are welcome so bring the family and have a great day celebrating the great season had by the local rugby league.

In other happenings around the town, Bicycle Queensland launches their 2014 Adventure Tour from the SES grounds from today to the 7th of September. Welcome to bicycle riders, the Music & Markets in the Park will be on this Saturday the 6th of September from 12 noon until 8pm at Endeavour Park, 1770.

This Sunday, the 7th of September, the Discovery Coast Rotary meets at the 1770 Bowls Club from 12 noon to 2pm.
