Agnes Water Beach Side Family Accommodation
Posted on November 7, 2014G’day. Welcome to another week’s blog from the Captain Cook Holiday Village crew in the beautiful location of Agnes Water in Queensland. We hope you have had an awesome week celebrating the spring racing season and the shorter working week with Melbourne Cup day. The caravan park grounds of 1770, Agnes Water has been beautiful with the summer and Christmas holiday season only around the corner. Let’s see what’s on around Agnes Water this week.
To get our week off to a flyer the weather is looking to shape up beautifully. The daily temperature tops will be consistent around the 27 degree mark and mostly sunny. Great weather to; head down to the Agnes Water main beach, have a picnic, take in the scenery on the walking tracks or simply relax on the caravan park grounds. The sun will be out in force so don’t forget to slip, slop, slide and slap.
To the beach, surf and fishing of Agnes Water; the waves should be nice and calm over the next week. With the flat waters, the conditions will be good for novice surfers to practice their skills, swimming at the Agnes Water beach and throwing a line out and seeing what’s for dinner.
The crew at Captain Cook Holiday Village Caravan Park are working head to expand 2 of our sites to offer guests more accommodation options. The new cabin and caravan park renovations should be up and running soon!
Agnes Water’s Captain Cook Lion Club’s major fundraiser has just past for 2014 with great results. The event is called the Grand Sand Slam Golf Classic; the best fun ever had playing golf on the beach. Players travelled on the world’s largest buggy, being the Larc. All proceeds raised will go back into the community through the Lions Club.
Thanks for stopping by and reading this week’s caravan park crew blog. Enjoy the awesome weather, until next time.
