Our Cancellation & Booking Change Policy

We understand that plans can change! To help us manage our bookings and keep things running smoothly, we’ve put together a few guidelines for when things don’t go quite to plan.

If You Need to Cancel Your Booking:

If you need to cancel, please let us know as soon as possible. Because it can be tough to rebook slots at short notice, the following policies apply to cover our administration and lost availability:

  • Notice of 30+ Days: We will retain the deposit for your first night and happily refund the remaining balance of your booking.
  • Notice of 14–29 Days: The first night’s deposit will be retained, and your remaining balance will be safely converted into a 24-month credit voucher for a future stay.
  • Less than 14 Days Notice: Bookings are non-refundable at this stage.

Peak Periods:

Our peak times are incredibly busy, so our policy for these dates is slightly different to protect our little business during high-demand periods:

  • With more than 30 days’ notice, we will refund your balance, less the first night’s deposit.
  • With less than 30 days’ notice, full payment is retained.

Tour Cancellations:

If you need to cancel a booked tour, the same timeframes and guidelines above apply.

If You Need to Change Your Dates:
We are always happy to help you move your dates around if we have the availability! If you’d like to reschedule, just get in touch with us within these timeframes:

  • Off Peak: Please let us know up to 48 hours before your scheduled arrival.
  • Peak Period: Please get in touch at least 14 days before your arrival.
  • High Peak Period: Please give us a heads-up at least 30 days before your arrival.

Your Peace of Mind

Please rest assured that these terms are designed to be fair to everyone and do not exclude or limit your statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law. We always promise to provide our services with due care, skill, and fitness for purpose.
