Hope everyone’s ready to have an awesome Easter break
Posted on March 22, 2013Hi all from the crew and captains of Agnes Waters Captain Cook Holiday Village park,
No doubt you’re all excited for the Easter break! Lets see what the Queensland uncluttered experience that is Agnes Water is offering for the festivities. Looks to be a relaxing time with many family fun activities set to not break the bank.
There’s tranquil parks, paths, picnic and BBQ areas to dine on the down low and great eateries, cafes, restaurants and take-outs to dine out and about. Or even catch your own – fishing in the area is offering strong takings with a high amount of fish caught. There’s plenty of peaceful fishing spots.
In surf today the beach looks to be giving a few sliders, few rumbles in the waves. Nothing to big out there but it’ll be a bit of easy fun which could pick up a bit later. The rest of the week will be beginner to moderate surf, nothing to turf you over. Even the amateur will have fun starting up so round up your mates and get them on the waves.
The week in weather in Agnes Water Queensland is hovering around that 27 degrees mark but doesn’t know what season it is. Looks to be mainly sun though but rain and cloud coming here and there. UV will be out in force so again triple S it up – slip, slop and slap yourselves, maybe slap on a cap and shades too.
There’s a few fun events happening in Agnes Water, 24th and 31st of March Discovery Coast Markets are open at the SES grounds – check them out and see if anything tickles the bargain hunter or upholster in you, maybe find a buried treasure.
Another tourist site opens on the 23rd of March after 27 years closed. Tours will be run through Bustard Heads lighthouse, open to the public to climb the stairs – relive Round the Twist Agnes Water style.
Till next time have a great time and safe travels over the Easter break, from the Captain Cook Holiday Village crew.
