1770 Captain Cook Festival & Agnes Water News
Posted on May 23, 2014Hello to you and Friday. As the rest of the country is still recovering after the budget and Tony Abbotts wink, Agnes Water will be celebrating with the annual Captain Cook Festival. Let’s see what the beautiful town of Agnes Water has in-store this week, with the festivities in full swing.
The weather for the festival looks to be nice and sunny, putting on a good show. The weekend tops should be around the 25 degree mark with the rest of the week about the same.
The annual Captain Cook Festival will be held this weekend, the 24th and 25th of May, tonight will kick off the event with a Special Captain Cook 1770 Festival Re-enactment starting at 5:30pm at the Air Sea Rescue Park. The festival will have some awesome local musical acts and great food. Bring the whole family to the SES Grounds!
If that isn’t your scene and you are after some peace, the surf today and Saturday morning is shaping up nicely. Towards the end of the week there should be some nice swells again too.
That’s it for this week’s holiday blog, thanks for stopping by and reading and we hope you enjoy this weekend’s festival. From the crew of Captain Cooks Holiday Village, see you next time and enjoy yourself.
