School Holiday’s are Over in Queensland

Posted on July 18, 2014

G’day to another Captain Cook Holiday Village accommodation blog for another week. The Queensland school holidays are done and dusted, and now it’s time for the adults to have some rest and relaxation in 1770. Let’s see what the town of Agnes Water has in store for this week.

We are off to a nice start with the all important weather. The days for this week look to be filled just about only with sunshine and open blue skies. The daily tops for the mercury will remain steady at the 20 to 21 degree mark.

Heading to the beach and surf condition for the week and if you where planning on whipping out the board, don’t! The waves for the coming week look to be ankle biters. I recommend replacing the surf board with the rod and reel and start fishing. The conditions are calm and beautiful to take it easy, take in the surroundings and hopefully score some dinner at the same time.

To the local rugby and unfortunately the local Marlin boys of Agnes Water couldn’t win last week’s match but it was a great effort and match. This week’s game is a local one for Agnes Water with kick off at 2:15pm on Sunday. Head down and give your support.

Thanks for stopping by this week’s crew log. From Captain Cooks Holiday Village we will see you next time, enjoy yourself.
