Agnes Water Weather, News and Local Rugby League
Posted on August 22, 2014Hello to another week’s Captain Cook Holiday Village caravan park crew log. As we fly through the third school term for 2014, we hope you have your school holiday plans sorted. Let’s see what’s happening around the Queensland getaway town of Agnes Water this week.
Firstly, the weather over the next week is looking to be mostly nice and, fingers crossed, sunny. Today and tomorrow look like chances of rain with the sun peeking through the clouds. The rest of the week should be mainly sunshine with good daily temperature tops of 22 degrees.
If you are looking to pull out the surf board over the weekend and head to the Agnes Water main beach prepare yourself for knee-high waves. However, the wave through the week should build momentum, besides it is great conditions to pull out the rod and reel and take in the local landscape with some fishing.
For the local rugby leagues the Agnes Water boys of Marlin will have kick off this Sunday at 12:30pm at Marlin Park. Head down in your blue colours and support the local rugby talent as we head into the business end of the season. This Sunday will also host the Discovery Coast Markets at the SES Grounds of 1770.
That’s it for this week’s caravan park crews log. Thanks for stopping by and dropping a line, we will see you next time. Enjoy yourself.
