Who said it was winter? Agnes Water 1770 Weather and Surf
Posted on August 8, 2014Hello to another week’s blog from the lovely Agnes Water. Who would think that it’s winter time? Hope you are enjoy the nice weather of 1770. Let us see what the Queensland town has in store over the next week.
Firstly, and most importantly, the weather over the following week looks to be mostly sunny. The temperature tops for the days will consistantly hover around the 22 degree mark with the sun poking through the clouds. The overnight lows will be around the 15 degree mark so it is certainly a nice week of weather ahead.
The surf over the next week will have some strong patches for those would like a little challenge. The swell on Sunday should hit over the 2 foot mark. If you are into your fishing the conditions on the beach are looking to shape up nicely from Tuesday onwards.
The local Marlin rugby boys of Agnes Water will be hitting the field this Sunday the 10th of August taking on South Kolan at Gin Gin, for the last game of the calendar season. Get down there and offer your support. The finals will start up the following week so we are at the business end of the season. The Discovery Coast Markets will also be on this Sunday at the 1770 SES Grounds.
Thanks for dropping us a line and reading this week’s crew log. Till next time enjoy yourself.
